6 WEEK BEGINNERS SEWING CLASS
In this class you will learn to use a sewing machine in order to complete two sewing projects (tote bag, shorts or skirt).
You will also learn how to use the different parts of a sewing machine and how to use a pattern.

Goals:
The goals for this class are to get familiar with a sewing machine, get comfortable using a machine, finish two projects, and to have a good time and get to know people in your community who share the same passion for sewing.

Week one: Introduction To The Sewing Machine
Introduction to the sewing machine segment and basic stitches along with a completed project that makes students feel proud and accomplished.

Getting to know the ins and outs out your sewing machine.

Learning the different stitch patterns (straight line, zigzag, overlock, etc.)

Week 2 & 3: Sewing Project (Tote Bags)

Week 4 ,5 & 6: Sewing Project (Simple sewing projects (t-shirt, skirt, joggers, sleepwear).
