At Pins & Needles Academy, this week's theme is Pirates & Mermaids. Young explorers will dive into the world of sewing, crocheting, and textile crafts inspired by the magic of the ocean. ⚓ This Week's Highlights: 🪝 Pirate & Mermaid Accessories – Sew eye patches, bandanas, or mermaid tail pouches! 🏝️ Treasure Map Embroidery – Stitch your own fabric treasure map and hunt for gold! 🐚 Seashell & Net Weaving – Create ocean-inspired crochet and textile art. 🦜 Parrot & Sea Creature Plushies – Hand-stitch your own pirate or mermaid companion. Students will build their sewing and fiber arts skills while crafting unique, ocean-inspired projects. Whether they dream of swashbuckling across the seas or exploring enchanted underwater worlds, there’s a place for every young maker on this creative voyage! All hands on deck—reserve your spot today! To ensure your child has the best experience possible, here are a few important details: 1. Clothing: Please send your child in comfortable clothing suitable for dyeing and painting projects. It's best if they wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy. 2. Lunch: Pack a lunch for your child each day. We have a refrigerator to keep lunches fresh and a microwave for warming up food. 3. Hydration: Encourage your child to bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. 4. Drop-off and Pick-up: Drop-off is at 9:00 AM, and pick-up is between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM.
